Join NYC Parks Stewardship as we celebrate the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.! MLK Day is the only nationally observed day of service -“a day-on, not a day-off”- where people all over the country come together to volunteer to improve their communities and their country. Join NYC Parks on this National Day of Service to help make Ferry Point Park a safer, cleaner, and healthier environment for all to enjoy! Volunteers will be helping to clean up debris at a previous Million Trees NYC planting site and nearby shoreline. Come dressed in clothes that can get dirty, warm layers, durable boots or sneakers, and bring a water bottle. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
