What's the holiday season without a beautiful, festive wreath? Learn how to make your own wreath from scratch with treasured keepsakes, ribbons, and natural objects like fresh thyme, rosemary, and cinnamon sticks. We will provide both artificial and organic material to create a wreath for your home, for either inside or outside decoration. They make great gifts, too!

Workshop instructor Wambui Ippolito is a horticulturist and landscape designer studying at the New York Botanical Garden's School of Professional Horticulture (SOPH) where she is being trained by a cadre of esteemed botanists, plant scientists, and horticulturists from around the world. Currently, as part of her school's externship requirements, she is the only SOPH student chosen to work at Martha Stewart's private estate in New York where she is charged with a wide range of horticulture responsibilities. Wambui is multilingual, having grown up and lived on multiple continents. She began her horticulture career as a volunteer at Snug Harbor under the direction of Greg Lord, our Director of Horticulture, also an alumnus of the School of Professional Horticulture.
