This horror classic follows, withdrawn and sensitive Carrie (Sissy Spacek) as she is bullied by her classmates at school and abused by mother (Piper Laurie) at home. When strange occurrences start happening around Carrie, she begins to suspect that she has supernatural powers. Invited to the prom by the empathetic Tommy Ross (William Katt), Carrie tries to let her guard down, but things eventually take a dark and violent turn. Based on Stephen King’s first novel, this chilling film is directed by the legendary Brian De Palma (SCARFACE) and also stars Oscar-winner John Travolta (PULP FICTION), Tony-winner Betty Buckley (CATS) and Oscar nominated, Amy Irving (YENTL).
