As part of the citywide Open House New York Weekend, the historic houses of Conference House Park will be open for self-guided tours. Rutan/Beckett House with its intact 1950s-era kitchen, and the Ward-Leven House circa 1830 (the second oldest within the park), will open for visitors.

Art and culture are on display during Open House New York. Visit the Conference House Inside Out exhibit at the Lenape Gallery in the Conference House Park Visitor Center: Also, enjoy the closing weekend of "Art in Parks' artwork installation titled Tree Reflections, by Harlem-based artist Susan Stair. On display at the Biddle House gallery is the Convergence: Philosophy, Science and Nature art exhitbition  Lines of Philosophy, Science and Nature meet to produce a show of original art; paintings, photography, mosaics and installation art. Presented by Zephyr Art Group and NYC Parks.

In addition to the park's historic houses, Conference House Park is home to a variety of natural habitats, flora, and fauna. Many are unique only to this area of NYC, including some red clay-colored bluffs and northern hackberry forests. On Saturday, October 14 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Protectors of Pine Oak Woods will hold a Staten Island Nature & Wildlife 2018 Calendar Launch reception at the Biddle House.
