A city teenager moves to a small town where rock music and dancing have been banned, and his rebellious spirit shakes up the populace.

Pre-Show Party
The evening begins with DJ Hahn Solo (Dub Is A Weapon) and the short film Have No Fear, directed by Beata Calinska & Sarah Jacobson in collaboration with Adia Whitaker, and curated by BAMcinématek. Park your bike for free with Transportation Alternatives when you arrive!

Beer Garden opens and music starts at 6:00 p.m.

About Movies with a View
Movies with a View takes place every Thursday evening in July and August. In 2017, the eight-week series will draw an average of 7,000 film fans at each screening. There is no better place to be on a hot summer night than watching a classic film and enjoying the breeze off of the East River from Harbor View Lawn with the dazzling Manhattan skyline before you.
