Join us for a day of colonial cooking and activities! Stop by the Fort Putnam Redoubt beside the Visitor Center for cooking demonstrations from the colonial times: bread-making, spit cooking, and Dutch oven cooking. Play colonial games, take a picture by a wagon, visit a Revolutionary War Colonel's tent, and write a letter to your loved one with a feather quill and ink.

Stop by the Fort Greene Park Conservancy tent in front of the Visitor Center between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to read Selene Castrovilla's children's books about the Battle of Brooklyn and the American Revolution. Scheduled storytime readings of her books will take place on the half-hour (11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m.).
