Laughter in the Park is a free, outdoor weekly comedy series, presented by NYLaughs.org, that takes place over the course of four weeks throughout the summer.
Every Sunday starting July 9, you can catch up to two hours of stand up comedy performed by some of comedy's most innovative and talked about artists. Please bring a blanket and picnic basket!

Langston is a stand-up comic, actor and writer who now recurs as Jered on HBO's comedy "Insecure". He was part of Chris Rock's writing staff for the 2016 Oscars and recently wrote for Comedy Central's new show "Problematic with Moshe Kasher".
Leighann is an American comedian, writer, and actress. She performs stand-up comedy and is the co-host (with Neil deGrasse Tyson) of the "Star Talk Radio" podcast.
Myq is a comedian and writer who has appeared on "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien," "The Late Show with David Letterman," "Comedy Central Presents," "Late Night with Seth Meyers," "@midnight," "The Chris Gethard Show," FX's "Louis," "Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell," and "Last Comic Standing," where he placed as a finalist. He has also written for "The Late Late Show with James Corden."
Sherrod Small (headliner)
Sherrod was a regular on VH1's "Best Week Ever," and served as a regular guest, occasional ombudsman, and one time host of Fox News' late-night satire program "Red Eye." He has appeared on "Tough Crowd," "Premium Blend," and "The Chris Rock Show." He can also be seen with John Mayer on the parody cover of Tay Zonday's "Chocolate Rain". He recently co-hosted, A&E's original comedy series that tackled race called "Black & White" and is a regular at the famed Comedy Cellar.
Gary one of four stand-up comics to make it to the final ten of NBC's hit show, "America's Got Talent", He also made his TV stand-up debut in 2014 on TBS', "Conan". Gary's other TV appearances include AXS TV's "Gotham Live", and "Comics Unleashed" with Byron Allen.

NYLaughs.org is a unique non-profit that aims to change the cultural landscape of the Big Apple through humor. From parks to streets and even subways, we provide New Yorkers laughter free of charge with our public, live comedy shows. We want to celebrate and deepen an appreciation of the comic arts.
