This tour features the bounty of fresh food grown here in the Bronx and available at local farmers markets.
Padre Plaza Community Garden boasts food production, a Wednesday market, and seasonal events in the garden. Brook Park is a community hub for green growth, not just of plants, but of people. We’ll stop at the South Bronx Farmers Market to allow for some shopping of farm-fresh produce on the way to our final stop, La Finca del Sur Urban Farm, whose crops contribute to the community market.
