Partnerships Academy Workshops
Partnerships for Parks (PfP) invites you to join us at one of our many free and open to the public workshops offered year-round! They are a great way to meet, network, and learn the skills needed to get involved with, build, or sustain your park group.

Upcoming Workshop: Shine Online with Limited Time
PfP Art Director Anne LaFond has worked with community park group leaders designing websites for over five years and has expertise in how our groups best use the internet to effectively communicate with the community. Community group leaders will also share examples of online strategies that have helped them increase membership, raise money, and get attention from press.

In this workshop you will…

  • Assess which mode(s) of online communication is right for your group (Facebook? Website? Email list? Instagram? Twitter?)
  • Learn about the pros and cons of creating and maintaining a website
  • Get tips to help increase traffic to your site and raise money online
  • Understand how to create a winning Capacity Fund Grant application to create a website worth several thousand dollars in support from Partnerships for Park
