Free arts workshops for the whole family! Songwriting, art-making, storytelling, poetry, movement and puppetry collide in this series of hands-on workshops for kids and adults alike.
Join Lincoln Center Boro-Linc’s Artist in Residence, Emma Alabaster, and special guest artists to learn about and share where we come from, where we live, and the futures we want to see. Come to meet your neighbors, connect with your family, inspire and be inspired by people of all ages. Most importantly, come to have fun!
Unit 3: Where Are We Going?
We will use art as a way to envision the futures we desire. Together we will make a real and science-fiction future through protest songs, movement, and puppetry.
This event takes place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on June 5, 7, 12, and 14 in Building P. There will be a special performance event on Saturday, June 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
No experience necessary. All workshops are free and open to the public. Dinner is provided free-of-charge.
We only have space for 25 participants, so sign up today! Participants are encouraged to commit to all dates in the unit. Please register on Eventbrite.
