Every second Saturday of the month from May to August, the Fort Greene Park Conservancy in collaboration with the Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership, present a free walking tour of Fort Greene Park. Take a walk and learn more about history of Fort Greene Park from its Revolutionary War roots to becoming an official park with the urging of local resident Walt Whitman.
The tour is 90 minutes long and begins at the Visitor Center. Free, registration required. Please register on eventbrite.
