Ever seen a sheep get its haircut? Join us on the farm for this annual spring celebration with sheep shearing demonstrations throughout the afternoon!
Our livestock coordinator will be shearing our flock of four Cotswold ewes and two Romney wethers using a traditional blade shearing technique. Fiber artists will be on hand to exhibit how wool is spun into yarn. Learn about our Community Compost Program and adopt a vermicomposting worm at the ConEdison Ecology booth. T
here will be special farm tours, hayrides, kids' crafts, colonial cooking demos, live music, and delicious local food on the farm all day.
$5 all ages, free for members
