At Rufus King Manor, discover Queens' unique history for yourself. Create a handkerchief just as women of Rufus King’s time would have owned by using simple embroidery techniques to embellish a cotton square. This program is designed for families with children, and you can enjoy free tours of the museum.
From 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. join Queens Memory Project to see what Jamaica was like in years past through old maps and images of our neighborhood. We encourage you to bring images of your family in Queens to be scanned and added to the Queens Memory Project database to showcase the recent and modern history of Queens.
