Join the Fort Tryon Park Trust, Yeshiva University, NYC Parks, and the Friends of the Old Croton Aqueduct to learn what went into the making of the historic High Bridge, NYC's oldest standing bridge, and how it transformed New York City.
Robert Kornfeld, historian and preservation architect, will present on the making of the High Bridge and the Croton Aqueduct system, an engineering marvel listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Bob also serves as the Vice President of the Friends of the Old Croton Aqueduct and has lectured at Columbia Graduate School of Architecture and the New York State Society of Professional Engineers
