Each summer, Central Park Conservancy hosts a series of eco-education and multicultural performances for the whole family to enjoy. Formerly known as A Clearing in the Forest, this year's Family Performance Festival is chock-a-block full of fun and learning through music, storytelling, park adventures, puppetry, and more!

Enjoy some hip-shaking and scientific acoustic music performed by Billy Kelly from his Grammy-nominated album "Trees." Gain a fresh perspective on everybody’s favorite source of shade in Central Park through songs like, "The Dichotomous Key," and "Count Your Rings." Also, learn about recycling through the life story of the greatest cardboard box in history, Johnny Box!

This family-friendly program is free.  All ages welcome. Please let us know you’re coming.  In case of inclement weather, please check Central Park's website or call (646) 208-4111 for updates.

Programs are between 60 and 90 minutes long.

For a complete listing of performances, visit Central Park Conservancy's Family Performance Festival page.
