Join us as we welcome spring and kick off our amazing 2016 programming season with this joyous, one-of-a-kind celebration. From Gansevoort Street to West 26th Street, performances by a diverse group of local artists, representing a wide variety of genres, will bring the High Line to life. Music, dance, poetry, comedy, storytelling, and spoken word will unite to make the entire day unforgettable.

Music
1:00 p.m. - Daniel Goode and the Flexible Orchestra: March along with a unique band that consists of 30 car hub-caps, a clarinet, a trombone, and an accordion.

Noon – 4:00 Mobile Mondays!: Shake your moneymaker! This DJ dance party features all 45's with Joey Carvello and DJ Misbehaviour.

Performances
12:45 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. - Heidi Latsky Dance: Looking for something a little provocative? This contemporary dance piece/living sculpture garden focuses on themes of inclusion and beauty.

2:30 p.m. - Other Voices: Broaden your child's mind with this bilingual (English and American Sign Language) performance inspired by stories created with students from PS 347 The American Sign Language and English Lower School.

2:45 p.m. -  Nat Towsen's High Line Variety Hour: Expand your New York City knowledge with host and native New Yorker, Nat Towsen, as he welcomes comedians, artists, and local luminaries for a variety show celebrating downtown NYC!

Noon – 4:00 p.m. -  Calling All Parties: Kids, be a super hero for the day in this interactive, fun super hero experience.

Poetry
12:15 p.m. -  Brad Gooch, Susie Ibarra, Paolo Javier, Yusef Komunyakaa, David Mason: Relish this electric fusion of poetry, music, and dance in this celebration of the High Line and its surroundings.

1:30 p.m. -  Caridad de la Luz, Bonafide Rojas, Emanuel Xavier: Join us for inspirational and passionate spoken word performances by today's leading Nuyorican poets.

3:00 p.m. -  t'ai freedom ford, Val Jeanty, Jadele McPherson, LaTasha N. Nevada Diggs: Join us for a music and poetry celebration of Jayne Cortez.

Family
12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. -  ¡Acopladitos!: Dance and sing along in this bilingual (English and Spanish) musical concert for families.

12:00 – 4:00 Towers! Bridges! Monsters!: Children of all ages can build and play with LEGO® bricks all day.

Tours
12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. -  High Line Art: Get an in-depth tour of High Line Art's current exhibitions, led by High Line Curator Melanie Kress. Sign up for the tour here.

12:45 p.m.  and 2:15 p.m. -  Academy of American Poets: West Village poetry tour. Poet Matthew Thorburn will lead the 12:45 p.m. tour and poet Lynn Melnick will lead the 2:15 p.m. tour. Groups will depart from the Gansevoort Street entrance of the High Line. Sign up for the tour here.
