This hands-on workshop is an introduction to documentary photography. Aldo Soligno will take you through a range of tips and techniques necessary to capture compelling images of people, events, and city-scapes that can be persuasive and advocate for social justice.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own cameras, cellphones with cameras, and related equipment.

Aldo Soligno is a professional photographer and photojournalist. His work has been published in Vanity Fair, MSNBC, Repubblica, Marie Claire, and many others. 

The event is in partnership with More Art, a nonprofit that brings artists and communities together to create public art and educational programs that inspire social justice. Learn more at moreart.org
