Whether in the bark of trees, the gleam of icicles or in winter-blooming plants, there is much to explore and photograph in the crisp air. Using demonstrations, slide lectures, hands-on assignments and reviews of students’ work, photographer Benjamin Swett guides participants in rendering the natural colors of the season accurately and expressively. His exhibit New York City of Trees is on view in Wave Hill House. Series continues January 19 and 26.
