WHEDco in collaboration with Make Music New York will inaugurate its annual Melrose procession series this year with a focus on holiday caroling. To celebrate the holiday, as well as the winter solstice, the community is invited to participate in a traditional Puerto Rican "Parranda." The procession will begin at the Bronx Documentary Center at 614 Cortlandt Avenue and will end at Railroad Park with a holiday tree lighting and chorus.

The Parranda starts at 4 p.m. at the Bronx Documentary Center, followed by the tree lighting at Railroad Park.
