Paths to Pier 42 brings art, design, and educational installations created in collaboration with neighborhood residents, and a series of public events, to the Lower East Side Waterfront.
Meet the 2015 artists and designers and experience their installations: Combo Colab, Meredith Drum & Rachel Stevens, Leroy Street Studio & Stephanie
Diamond. Submit your favorite seafood recipe, draw fish that swim through our city waters, join the Pier Ambassadors on a walking tour, enjoy performances as well as hands-on science, art and ecology activities for kids!
Pier 42 is located along the East River between the Manhattan and Williamsburg Bridges. The temporary park site is on the south side of the FDR Drive with entrances from the East River Greenway at Montgomery Street and through Corlears Hook Park at Cherry Street. The nearest subway station is the F train at East Broadway.
