NOTE: All free tickets for the Main Stage area have been claimed. Public without tickets can still access other areas of the festival including the Backyard Bash, which features family activities, food trucks, and Pops’ Place at the Queens Museum with international DJ’s, an indoor beer garden, and a tour of notable Jazz spots on the Museum’s flagship Panorama of the City of New York.
Join us at the second annual festival celebrating the life and legacy of one of America’s musical icons. Louis Armstrong’s Wonderful World is a day of music, food, and fun in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
See performances by Lauryn Hill, Rebirth Brass Band, Shannon Powell's Traditional All-Star Band, Antibalas, Ozomatli, and the Rebirth Brass Band on the main stage. Performances begin at 12:30 p.m. Tickets are limited, and this event is now full.
The festival’s Backyard Bash features family-friendly activities throughout the park and DJ sets in the Queens Museum, recreating the memorable garden parties that Louis hosted for his friends and neighbors at his home in Corona where he lived for almost 30 years. The festival begins at 12:00 p.m.
