Urban Park Rangers specialize in interpretation of historic turning points, both natural and man-made, in our city's long history.
Revolutionary New York programs focus on the history of New York during the pre- and post-Colonial Period. The park today was once home to Fort Putnam, which was later renamed after General Greene for the war of 1812.
Hear the stories surrounding Fort Greene Park and enjoy learning about our past.
