Martin Luther King Day Idlewild Park Wetland Cleanup

Volunteer with Natural Areas Volunteers (NAV) at Idlewild Park to removal floatable debris washed up from Hurricane Sandy. This work will help protect and maintain the wetlands of Idlewild Park. Volunteers will be trained in removal and cleanup techniques. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, warm layers, long pants and clothing that can get dirty. Please meet your NAV Technical Leader at the corner of 230th Place and 149th Avenue. This project is appropriate for adults and youth groups that are High school age and above.
