Green Guerrilas Eco Fest and Film Festival

Join us as we enjoy award-winning documentary films that celebrate the soil we cultivate, the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the people who fight for Mother Earth. Films include TRUST Colorado, Brower Youth Awards, The Corner Garden, Up on the Farm, and Symphony of the Soil. There will be a Q&A via Skype with Symphony of the Soil producer/director Deborah Koons Garcia.

Doors will open at 4:00 p.m., so feel free to come early to cool off and enjoy free snacks and refreshments.

From 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. there will be the Western Queens Eco-Fest, in which participants can enjoy presentations from leaders and innovators in the NYC urban agriculture and nonprofit worlds and celebrate a new generation of green ambassadors, the Youth Tillers of Western Queens.

There will be free snacks and refreshments from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., no food or drink is permitted in the screening room.
