Engage in a creative dialogue with your surroundings guided by professional artists working in various media. Join visual artist Elizabeth Hamby to experiment with techniques that push the physical and conceptual boundaries of the book, using visual note-taking, paper cutting, collage and materials-based research. Exploring the connection between who we are and where we are, participants create their own books based on the landscapes they observe and recall. Registration recommended, online at www.wavehill.org, by calling 718.549.3200 x232 or at the Perkins Visitor Center. Drop-ins welcome as space allows.
