Join nature photographer Benjamin Swett for an armchair natural history tour of New York City. He will present a slideshow of some of the city’s most meaningful and historical trees and share personal narratives and historical observations as described in his new book New York City of Trees. Published by the Quantuck Lane Press, the book contains portraits and stories of 55 trees around the five boroughs and depict the city’s trees as the true keepers of its past. The lecture will be followed by Q& A and a book-signing by the author. Registration recommended.
