Sponsored by Bloomingdale Aging in Place, these walks take place year-round in Riverside Park. We meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:30 AM at the entrance to 315 Riverside Drive (on W. 104th St.) and walk for about an hour. The route and/or destination is chosen by consensus each day.

The Stay Well exercise program is geared for all seniors, ranging from the fit to those with disabilities. The curriculum includes aerobic exercises as well as routines designed to enhance balance, build muscle strength and aid in the performance of the tasks associated with daily living. Walking

You may use any of Parks' recreational spaces, except tennis courts, without a permit. However, if a permit holder arrives with a valid permit in hand, you must vacate the field or court. An individual must have a season permit or single-play ticket to use Parks' tennis courts.

We welcome all women from total beginners (those who power walk, on the way the way to building up to jogging or running), advanced beginners & intermediate runners (gearing up for their first 5K, 10K or 1/2 marathon), to marathoners. We run year round, have weekly group runs, training runs and workshops. Our team participates in NYRR, charity and other race events as well as volunteer.
