Want to participate in a 10k? No problem! This program is here to teach members how to train and prepare themselves to walk or run in a 10K race. The program will run 3 days a week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Each day will get members closer and closer to that final 10K run!

North Meadow Recreation Center, Mid-park at 97th Street, Central Park, Manhattan

In partnership with the New York Walker's Club, these clinics increase physical fitness and mental health while enjoying the scenic views of Central Park.  Led by coach Lon Wilson, each clinic includes a warm-up, cool down, and stretching.

Mental Health First Aid is a public education program that introduces participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental illnesses, builds understanding of their impact, and overviews common supports. The program also teaches the common risk factors and waring signs of specific types of illnesses, like anxiety, depression, substance use, bipolar disorder, eating disorders and schizophrenia.

You may use any of Parks' recreational spaces, except tennis courts, without a permit. However, if a permit holder arrives with a valid permit in hand, you must vacate the field or court. An individual must have a season permit or single-play ticket to use Parks' tennis courts.
