This is instructional to development the fundamentals of track and field. Participants will learn running mechanics, breathing & relaxation techniques posture swing mechanics, Acceleration & Maximal Speed & speed endurance. Long jump & Shot put(Tuesdays 5-6pm). Youth will be prepared to compete in USATF meets.

The Ocean Breeze Youth Track Club stemmed from a desire to give back to the community. We believe that athletics can be used as an opportunity to empower young children through physical training and mental discipline. Our goal is to create a great tradition of Track and Field/Cross Country Athletics in the Staten Island community. Wave Runners is open to boys and girls ages 7-17 years, and all youth track members will have the benefit of training on our world class, state of the art indoor track.

You may use any of Parks' recreational spaces, except tennis courts, without a permit. However, if a permit holder arrives with a valid permit in hand, you must vacate the field or court. An individual must have a season permit or single-play ticket to use Parks' tennis courts.
