Using our awareness of the skeletal structure of the body for balance, we release along the diagonal of muscles creating a unique stretch that awakens and strengthens. Postures and movements similar to Yoga may be familiar to you but are enhanced with the knowledge of the principles of the Alexander Technique and Cantienica (R). Janis Sharkey is a Certified Alexander Technique teacher as well as certified to teach Cantienica (R) a practice which integrates skeletal and muscular movements to strengthen and balance.
