Too Old to Rock 'n' Roll: Too Young to Die! A gentle get- and stay-back-in-shape fitness course grounded in science that’s shown it’s not too late to journey to life, health and happiness. Geared toward the 50+ set, but open to all. You’ll strengthen your cardiovascular system, muscles, flexibility, and balance, witha wide range of low-impact standing and sitting exercises, including use of elastic bands (provided), and, weather permitting, walking and stair-climbing out-of-doors. Sam, your instructor, is part of the Shape Up NYC Instructor Training Program. Shape Up classes are FREE and open to the public.

Olympic weightlifting is a type of weightlifting aimed at lifting maximum weight.  It is mastered by gaining strength through practice and using techniques to effectively lift the barbells.  For ages 14 and over.

This program requires registration and a $50 program fee.
