Shamburger's CHKA (Chinese Hawaiian Kenpo Academy) offers a FREE Weekly Women's Self-Defense class as a community service to the women of New York City. The class is offered every Tuesday evening at 7 pm at our studio, 34 Avenue A, 2nd Floor. The class is open to all women ages 14 and up. Members will engage in a 12 week 45 minute learn fritness machine program. Participants will meet in the dance studio for 5 minutes of stretching then to cardio rooms for program. Each person will be giving 15 minutes on a fitness machine. learning how to set machines for their age range, how to monitor their heart rate, keeping track of progress for moving on to the next level of independelty working out.

Social Sports

You may use any of Parks' recreational spaces, except tennis courts, without a permit. However, if a permit holder arrives with a valid permit in hand, you must vacate the field or court. An individual must have a season permit or single-play ticket to use Parks' tennis courts.
