Celebrating life, beauty and the power of culture, this open level dance class focuses on developing each participant's relationship to poly-rhythm and percussion. Haiti has one of the highest levels of African retention in the western hemisphere. The dance and music from this extremely complex and resilient country are rich with stories of perseverance, love, war and the connections/disconnections all human beings share with their environment. Low to high-impact aerobics class held in the shallow and deep end of the pool. These classes utilize the resistance and buoyancy of water to tone the muscles while protecting the joints.

A swimming cap is highly recommended of all swimmers.
