SUMMARY:Gentle Tone & Stretch
DESCRIPTION:The Harlem Center for Healthy Living opened its doors in 2008 as a means to address the health disparities in Harlem, by focusing on education, activities and support in the prevention of obesity, hypertension, diabetes type 2, and heart disease. HCHL aspires to empower members with life-long healthy living habits. The monthly calendar of classes and activities include pilates, yoga, total body conditioning, salsa dancing, one on one healthy lifestyle coaching, healthy cooking demonstrations, holistic health workshops, and healthy community meals. Our goal at HCHL is to make wellness practices accessible and affordable for ALL in our community and to care for the total person/family. Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
