Explore the park’s central features, including the Lake and Ramble woodland, then marvel at the views from Belvedere Castle.

Route involves many hills, stairs, and uneven paths. Tours take place rain or shine, except in extreme weather conditions (heavy rain, sustained winds of 30 m.p.h. or more, snowstorms, and a wind chill below 25 degrees or heat index above 95 degrees).

Co-authors Lois Rosebrooks and Frank Decker speak about their recent book, exploring the history of a Brooklyn church which served as a busy stop on the Underground Railroad as well as a critical player in the abolitionist movement.

The talk will be followed by an informal Q&A accompanied by a tea.
