The Bronx Museum of the Arts and Performa are proud to present Game Performance by Paulo Bruscky at Macombs Dam Park in the Bronx.

Throughout his career, Paulo Bruscky has produced artworks inspired by everyday experiences that challenge audiences to think about how the world unfolds around them. The international fascination with soccer has been a continuous source of inspiration for the artist as he explores the game’s format and mystique through performances and sculptural works.

Game Performance is organized in collaboration with Tom Russotti and The Institute for Aesthletics and will feature an eclectic team of players including poets Bruce Andrews, E.J McAdams and Urayoan Noel, choreographers Sally Silvers and Patricia Hoffbauer, playwright and actor George Emilio Sanchez, artists Mary Mattingly, Ricardo Kugelmas, and Hatuey Ramos Fermin. Jonathan Kuhn, Director of Art & Antiquities at the Parks Department, will serve as captain for the entire team(s).

Urban Park Rangers are role models who encourage children to let their imaginations run wild in a safe, supportive atmosphere.

While nearly all of our programs are family friendly, the programs highlighted here are specifically designed for young children and families. Whether enjoying a family friendly beach exploration, freeing your imagination playing in nature, or learning about conservation through eco-crafts, a free Ranger program is the perfect addition to your family’s weekend.
