Hear the story behind New York City’s park in the sky. Tuesday Tours are free hour-long walking tours led by High Line Docents, knowledgeable volunteer guides who offer you an insider’s perspective on the park’s history, design, and landscape.

Tuesday Tours take place weekly between Tuesday, May 7 and Tuesday, September 24.

Space is limited. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to guarantee a spot.

Tuesday Tours are subject to cancellation due to weather. Check back or follow @highlinenyc on Twitter for updates every Tuesday by noon.

Local musicians will draw you to the dance floor with Jazz, Blues and Latin beats, as you feel the passionate melodies of the music. Cosponsor Cabrini Wines will supply an elegant assortment of wines and special discounts for orders placed through the event. While our newest cosponsor, Dyckman Beer Co., will introduce you to an all new selection of locally brewed beers. You can sample 16 wines from Cabrini Wines and the full selection of Dyckman Beer Co. offerings paired with delectable food from local restaurants. All for a good cause.

All proceeds support Fort Tryon Park restoration, horticultural supplies, maintenance staff, free programs, special events, volunteer initiatives and improvements in the park.

<![CDATA[Pilates Fitness Guru]]> Date: September 17, 2013

The Fitness Guru (aka Michael Feigin) is back in the park for Pilates Mat classes overlooking the New York Harbor. Learn to properly activate the muscles of your abdomen and back to create an incredible amount of stability in your torso. Pilates is designed to restore the natural curvature of the spine while rebalancing the muscles around the joints.

A few notes:

  • Registration begins at 6:30 pm each evening.
  • Remember to bring a mat if you have one (a limited number of mats are available first come first served - with valid ID).
  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • All participants must sign a waiver each night before participating.
