Henry IV, Part 1 depicts a span of history that begins with Hotspur's battle at Homildon in Northumberland against the Douglas late in 1402, and ends with the defeat of the rebels at Shrewsbury in the middle of 1403.

The mission of Hudson Warehouse is to present the classics in exciting productions inspired by our past and relevant to our present day. We want to educate the novice and enthrall the well-versed. We embrace the traditional and innovative, the classical and the modern classic. Through the dedication, passion and intelligence of all our theater artists, we bring these works to life. When our work elicits a true emotional response from an audience member, this experience reaffirms that theatre is a "ware" that is essential to daily life.

Spectacular landscapes and panoramic views await you!

Come to Freshkills Park for an opportunity to discover the trails and hills of the landfill-to-park project!

We’re opening up the future North Park and miles of additional interior trails for walking, bicycling, jogging and exploring on two Sundays this summer, on June 7 and August 2.

At each event, Kayak Staten Island will lead a free kayaking program from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Fresh Kill and Main Creek waterways. Bicycles will be available for riding around the trails, and NYC Audubon will lead a nature hike near the creek. Visitors are also encouraged to bring their own cameras to photograph the park in progress. Pack a picnic or purchase food and non-alcoholic beverages from event food trucks.

A bus to the scenic overlook will run throughout the day. Shuttles into the site will run continuously from parking at Wild Avenue to the creek of North Park, and on a scheduled basis from St. George Ferry Terminal. Visitors, including bicycle riders and dog owners, can enter the site directly at 350 Wild Avenue and do not need to take a shuttle.

The site will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the last entrance at 3:30 p.m. Visit Freshkill's Discovery Day for more information.

Please join us to meet the artists featured in Wave Hill’s summer exhibitions.

Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath–Force of Nature explores contemporary anxieties about the environment through painterly and sculptural depictions of natural disasters and their aftermath. This show gathers together a group of artists dedicated to picturing the unpredictability of the material world: Diane Burko, Brian Adam Douglas, Angela Dufresne, Julie Heffernan, Amer Kobaslija, Kent Monkman, Tameka Norris, Brian Novatny, David Opdyke, Anne Peabody, Jon Rappleye, and Alexis Rockman.

In the Sunroom Project Space, two exhibitions will open. Tamara Johnson is a deft sculptor who insinuates humor into the world of the everyday. At Wave Hill, she extends the iconic balustrade of the pergola on the Great Lawn into the Sun Porch. In the Sun Room, Eto Otitigbe draws on his background in polymedia to encourage viewers to see the landscape as an interactive experience.

This event is free with admission to the grounds.
