Anyone interested in forest ecology, invasive plant removal and urban forests should attend and join the Forest Crew in their work every Saturday afternoon.

From Porcelainberry to Multiflora Rose and Oriental Bittersweet the Highbridge Forest Crew works to remove these invasive plants and others from the park and to care for recently planted native trees. The Forest Crew will learn basic invasive and native plant identification, proper removal techniques and an overview of NYRP’s approach to urban reforestation. Anyone interested in forest ecology, invasive plant removal and urban forests should attend and join the Forest Crew in their work every Saturday afternoon.
