DESCRIPTION: Join us for a series of Tree Giveaway events in local communities where you can pick up a free tree to plant in your own front or back yard! IMPORTANT INFORMATION: 100 trees are available per event. Limit one tree per household. Register for a tree online ahead of time at to make sure you can receive one. Registration closed? Limited quantities of trees will be available first come, first served. Trees must be planted in the 5 Boroughs. Trees cannot be planted along streets, in city parks, in containers, or on roofs.
