DESCRIPTION: The Conference House Association is offering summer workshops for children during the months of July and August. Learn how to write with your very own feather quill pen or find out how to make “stone soup”. Churn some butter, paint a picture, go on a scavenger hunt, or learn how to “vinegar grain”. Workshops July 10 - A Stitch in Time July 1 - Nature Photography July 12 - Calligraphy July 17 - Vinegar Graining July 18 - Stone Soup July 19 - Calligraphy July 24 - Floor Cloth Painting July 25 - Sun Photography July 26 - The Colonial Garden July 31 - Advanced Floor Cloth Painting August 1 - Outdoor Watercolor August 2 - Tree Detective August 7 - Box Guitar! August 8 - Principles of Drawing August 9 - A Stitch in Time Programs are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 am until noon. Workshops are geared for children ages 6 to 10.
