SUMMARY:The Art of Collage at Wave Hill
DESCRIPTION: Inspired by the Wild Garden, participants explore the art of collage, including tools, techniques, materials and principles of color and design. Participants experiment with texture, color and imagery to create artwork that builds upon the traditional layered-paper-and glue creations by incorporating observational drawings, rubbings, found objects, mixed media, and text. Visual artist Paul Lambermont leads open-ended discussion of works of art on view at Glyndor Gallery and visual investigation of the garden and woodlands. All levels welcomed.
