Canal, Varick, and Laight Streets

This new park, opened to the public in Summer 2009, is a powerful symbol of the revitalization of downtown Manhattan. The park design includes a new sculptural fountain, new trees and plantings, new benches, decorative paving, and a sunning lawn. The ribbon cutting was held in November 2009.
