The JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge® in Central Park turns 32 this year. This year's celebration of corporate fitness and camaraderie is set for two nights – Wednesday, June 18 and Thursday, June 19 with a race start of 7:00 p.m. on both nights.
As it has been every year since its debut in 1977, the Corporate Challenge is a 3.5-mile, team road race. All participants must work a minimum of 25 hours per week and enter as part of a company team with their colleagues.

A worldwide schedule with events in six countries and a focus on the environment are the key elements of the 2008 JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge® Series.
The 32nd consecutive calendar year of the Series began on Thursday, March 6 in Johannesburg, South Africa and will ultimately visit 12 cities on five continents before concluding with the fastest companies competing in the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge Championship in New York on Saturday, October 4.
The Corporate Challenge is the largest road racing Series in the world and is coming off a year of unprecedented growth. The 2007 Series drew over 225,000 participants from more than 7,500 companies, reached full capacity in seven cities, and had an increase in entries in the other five.
This worldwide collection of fitness enthusiasts and JPMorgan Chase & Co. will now be Teaming Up For A Greener Tomorrow. Each 2008 Corporate Challenge will have a variety of tactics designed to lessen the consumption of energy and paper resources – from the printing of finisher t-shirts, to the sourcing of environmentally-friendly vendors, to providing shuttle transportation options, to a goal of 100-percent online registration and on-site recycling.
The Corporate Challenge will also make an impact in the community through charitable giving. The JPMorgan Chase Foundation will make a donation for each entry to not-for-profit organizations in each city. Since 2005, these funds have totaled nearly $1.8 million, earning the Corporate Challenge “Charitable Event of the Year” honors from USA Track & Field.
