Add to CalendarMany raptors fly south every autumn in preparation for the upcoming winter. These birds like to follow the same flight paths year after year. With JFK right around the corner, the Rockaways are like their very own avian airport. The Rangers will conduct a bird census, so we’re "counting" on you to come. Binoculars provided.
