15th Annual Uptown Treasures Celebration

The 15th Annual Uptown Treasures Celebration invites the public to explore 8 unique places and enjoy a day of family-friendly events at the historic and cultural institutions of northern Manhattan.
Uptown Treasures Celebration features special events and activities for children and adults, tours, demonstrations, and performances throughout the day.
Highlights include:
- Olympic Gold Medal winner Derrick Adkins leading tours at the National Track and Field Hall of Fame and Museum
- Ballet Hispanico School Ensemble performing Flamenco and other dances at The Hispanic Society of America
- Visitors climbing to the top of the 185-foot High Bridge Water Tower with the Urban Park Rangers
- NYC Public School students reading their original poems at the American Academy of Arts and Letters
- The NYC Piper bag piping with Highland dancers at the Heather Garden in Fort Tryon Park
- Candle dipping and quill writing at the Morris Jumel Mansion Museum
- Cider pressing and quilting demonstrations at the Dyckman Farmhouse Museum
- Gallery workshop for families at The Cloisters

Admission is FREE or by recommended donation.
Free Hop-on-Hop-off shuttle will be available between all Uptown Treasures locations. The Uptown Treasures are also accessible via public transportation.
