Mike Feller's Inwood Nature Walks

Saturday, October 6, 2007

8:00 a.m.10:00 a.m.

Please note: This event has already taken place. Please use the Browse and Search options on the right to find upcoming events.

Mike Feller, Chief Naturalist for Parks & Recreation, leads Nature Walks in Inwood Hill Park every Saturday (except on the last Saturday of the month when Mike gives his walk in Fort Tryon Park). Mike, a highly respected naturalist, has made many contributions to the preservation and restoration of New York’s natural areas.

Mike’s morning walks offer great opportunities to see migrating songbirds and to learn how the ecosystems of Inwood Hill Park influence which plants and animals can thrive there. Bring binoculars and a field guide if you wish.

Occasionally, we must change Mike's Walk schedule.  Please check our website for announcements about such changes.
