More than half a million light emitting diodes (LEDs) will be used to illuminate four gateways to the Park: Grand Army Plaza, which encompasses the historic Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch and the Bailey Fountain; Bartel-Pritchard Circle; Park Circle; and the Parkside and Ocean Avenue entrance to the Park. The lighting schemes for Prospect Park in Lights were developed by noted Brooklyn-based lighting designer Jim Conti.

The heated Trolley is provided by the Heart of Brooklyn cultural partnership. The tour makes no stops and will be approximately 30 minutes long. Tours begin and end at the Trolley stop just inside the Park entrance on the Park Drive at Grand Army Plaza and will loop through the Park.
