Brazilian Girls/ Gold Streets / Adam Deitch Project

Topping the Billboard dance charts and gaining the acclaim of several critics, Brazilian Girls count Sting as being among one of their many fans.  Combining international, electronic and improvisational music into an incredible beat, Brazilian Girls are not to be missed.

This fresh NYC based band tears it up with heart stopping rhythms and base lines that won’t quit. Don’t miss Gold Streets as they make their way towards their destiny A.K.A. stardom.

The Adam Deitch Project is a blend of live trip-hop, broken-beat, dub, drum & bass and of course, hip-hop. The project features some of the most prolific musicians in hip-hop today. Borahm Lee (Fugees, Lauryn Hilll, Matisyahu) plays keyboards and effects, Stu Brooks (G-Unit, Dub Trio) is on bass and DJ Gravy is on turntables. They have been playing at some of New York City’s hottest clubs including Nublu, Scenic, the Knitting Factory,sold-out weekends at the famed Blue Note and festivals nation wide.

Hudson River Park has been presenting its signature RiverRocks concert series going on eight years and, from meager beginnings, the series has grown tremendously. Focused on up-and-coming artists, RiverRocks has featured such groups as the White Stripes and Rooney. The series has become a mainstay of the Park’s Take Me to the River festival and is enjoyed by thousands of New Yorkers.
