The Audubon Center at the Boathouse and Lefferts Historic House are open from 12 to 4 p.m. The Tennis Center is open 7a.m. – midnight.

Freedom Quilts, 1 – 4 p.m.
In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., come join us to celebrate and recognize the great contributions made by African Americans. Learn about freedom quilts through live storytelling and a quilt-making workshop for children and adults. Lefferts Historic House. Free.
Speaking Out: Environmental Justice
Guest speakers from the Brooklyn Center for the Urban Environment (BCUE) and the Sierra Club explore the African-American experience with urban environmental causes. With performances from Drummers’ Grove musicians. Check prospectpark.org for speakers and times. Audubon Center. Free.
